Cricket that fits around a working week
Not everyone can give up a Saturday. The Bengaluru Box Cricket League runs entirely on weeknights under floodlights — 45-minute fixtures, six overs a side, done and home.
Format
Twenty teams across an eight-week season. Each team plays one fixture per week in a scheduled evening slot, followed by playoffs for the top eight. Six overs a side, six players per team plus rolling substitutes.
Why box cricket works midweek
The enclosed format means no fielders chasing to a distant boundary, no long breaks and no lost balls. Every player is involved in every over. A full fixture is over in about 45 minutes, which is what makes a Tuesday evening realistic.

Floodlit arena slot, umpire, match balls, live scoring and league table, and end-of-season trophies with individual awards.
Who plays
Office teams, apartment communities, college groups and friend circles. Mixed teams welcome and encouraged.
