An inter-school cup built so every school gets real cricket
Straight knockout tournaments send half the schools home before lunch. The Inter-School Cricket Cup runs a main draw and a plate competition side by side, so a school knocked out in round one still plays two more competitive fixtures.
Format
Twenty Under-16 school teams, 25 overs a side, played across three weekends on two full-size turf grounds. First-round losers enter the plate competition, which runs its own quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
